Intention…
Explore the Ayurvedic Lifestyle...
Ayurveda is the ancient holistic healthcare system of India, often named the sister of Yoga. Ayurveda is a system based around the 5 elements, and can be applied to day to living with practices such as living in relationship with the seasons, eating natural, ancient self care rituals, seasonal food, and being conscious of what we are consuming through what we eat, what we watch and listen to, and who we choose to spend our time with.
What to expect..
Vinyasa, Yin Yoga, Pranayama + Meditation
Morning and evening yoga, breathwork & meditation practices will be led by senior yoga teacher & founder of Union yoga & wellbeing, Amie Evans. This will be a mix of different styles such as Vinyasa, Yin, Hatha & Restorative depending on the time of day and what people need.
Delicious wholesome food
Three meals a day will be prepared by our experienced nutritional therapist & naturapathic chef, Vanessa Jaich
Wild Swimming & Sauna
Amongst all the yoga there will be plenty of time relax, hike, swim in the river and soothe your muscles in the sauna
On our doorstep..
Inshriach consists of 200 acres of natural woodland and pasture, bordered on the North side by the river Spey, and to the south by the Inshriach Forest and the foothills of the Cairngorms. They have a herd of around 130 Blackface sheep on the fields and with fishing, swimming and picnic spots aplently. There are miles of walks straight out of the house suitable for all abilities and ambitions.
In the oak woods you can find a workshop which houses Wooden tom and his green woodworking and carving operation. Courses in spoon carving, bowl making, furniture making, axe throwing, tool sharpening and other wood based pursuits run throughout the year.
A mile from the house, down by the river, are the wood fired sauna and hot tub.
