Join registered nutritional therapist and yoga teacher, Sophie Higgins, for this 4-hour nurturing and immersive workshop created to support you in finding your flow.
Summer is a time of vibrant and outward energy, and while we’ll be honouring and channelling these beautiful vibrations, we’ll also be dedicating time to harnessing this outward energy by tuning inwards, grounding, and coming back to our bodies.
We’ll begin the day by delving into and exploring the heat of the Summer energy by moving through an energising and uplifting vinyasa yoga practice, feeling and flowing into our bodies and igniting our inner fire. After cultivating digestive heat we’ll then break for a nutritious and delicious whole-foods lunch created by the wonderful Union Café.
After lunch we will journey together on a deep-dive into our wonderful nervous and endocrine systems, the gut-brain axis, and the vagus nerve, and explore the role that nutrition and lifestyle elements can play when it comes to our energy and vibrancy levels. There will be time to discuss, share, and for questions, allowing you to create a personalised template for optimal whole-body nourishment.
We will then be joined by the wonderful Amie Evans who will guide us into finding the power of our voices through chanting some simple mantras. We will come together and harness the elements of sound and vibration as vehicles for connection and self expression.
A grounding and nourishing restorative yoga practice will then close the afternoon, inviting us to journey deeper into our bodies. Being supported and held by the ground beneath us we will turn our attention inwards, resting into and honouring our innate sense of wisdom, safety and trust.
So if you’re looking to find your flow this Summer, then this workshop is for you!
